Abstract
We study three questions left separate by the generic matrix-extension calculation: exceptional reductions of its radial special functions, the hypotheses needed for a finite apex-contact ledger, and realization of a declared boundary matrix by shrinking smooth cores. An important correction is necessary. An unrestricted assertion that Barnes reduction occurs only for equal orders, diagonal matrices, or scale-invariant relations is false. Mixed rank-one matrices reduce the Barnes denominator, and commensurate unequal orders admit finite univariate Barnes sums even for positive-definite mixed matrices. We prove instead a sharp structural classification: a constant decomposition into scalar Bessel channels exists precisely when the boundary relation respects the unequal-order decomposition, or when the orders coincide. We also classify all dilation-invariant relations and recover the equal-order projective line without extending it to unequal orders.
For contacts, we prove a conditional three-parameter classification in an explicitly specified homogeneous normal-jet convention. Its two-parameter charge-conjugation specialization requires invariance of the extension and prescription, not merely half holonomy. Rotation-breaking projectors and finite matrices are recorded in separate sectors.
The constructive result is an explicit nonnegative smooth-cap approximation of every fixed finite H ≥ 0, including a declared positive-definite mixed example. A matrix ground-state factorization gives Mosco and strong-resolvent convergence to the product realization Nb = Ha. The cap interaction is smooth-coefficient and finite-rank in angular variables, but angularly nonlocal; no local-curvature-only realization is claimed. This construction separates engineered operator realizability from physical core selection, state convergence, and contact normalization. We prove the limiting apex-arrival support bound and retain supported Friedrichs transfer windows. Finally, finite classical reports are separated from continuum observables, quantum return, reservoir heat, and endpoint dynamics. No numerical table, compilation, interacting gravitational coefficient, backreaction, or spacetime-emergence claim is made.
